The townhouse was transformed from a kitschy over-built 5-storey structure to a modern looking building more in line with the scale of the adjacent buildings. The original structure was basically unchanged with the exception of removing the over-built portions and some floor slabs. Yet the transformation is significant both in the building language and interior space.
