With the outdoor swimming pool located one floor below street level among this 5 storey townhouse, we emphasised on the play of various internal spaces of different heights. The fairface concrete wall that ran the whole height and depth of the building was the unifying element and could be experienced throughout the building both inside and outside. Against this monolithic wall, timber, glass and limited other materials play on the contrast with this masculine structure.
